Many people who are relocating to Colorado Springs CO may be either looking for natural beauty or an outdoor lifestyle. People love moving to Colorado Springs CO for our mountain views and small city vibe. It’s no wonder people enjoy living in Colorado Springs. If you want to relocate to Colorado Springs CO, here are a few things you should know.
Welcome to Colorado Springs CO – one of the most desirable places to live in in Colorado and the second largest city after Denver. Located about 90 minutes south of downtown Denver. In fact, Colorado Springs was ranked #9 by U.S. News for best places to live in the country for 2023-2024 for our robust job market and high quality of life. There’s so much to love about our community, but let’s take a local’s inside look at my city.
One of my favorite and most people’s favorite things about living in Colorado Springs is the natural beauty throughout. It’s just not one focal point, it’s everywhere! Every morning, from the wildlife to the open spaces and mountain views, is breathtaking. With our clean air and skies, there’s so much to appreciate all around you.
Today we’re visiting downtown Colorado Springs, just one of the most popular places to hang out. You have all your restaurants with some of my favorites like Urban Egg for breakfast, Colorado Craft for lunch, COATI for live music, and a dope atmosphere with food truck vibes. If you want something super fancy, Four by Brother Luck from the Food Network. Check out Phantom Canyon for our craft brews!
Our arts and culture scene is top top-notch as a certified creative district. With more than 50 pieces of permanent public art and plenty of galleries, museums, and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, there are plenty of shows and exhibits by artists locally and nationally.
Furthermore, we’ve got parks, shops, and interesting things to do including hiking and biking in Monument Valley Park and businesses are thriving here! Colorado Springs is a growing and thriving community with several military bases supporting our local economy with new tech companies and loads of opportunities.
Finally, Colorado Springs was founded on the idea of resort-style living. Starting with the Broadmoor Hotel to neighborhoods like Flying Horse and Cheyenne Mountain, you can live like you’re on vacation every day.
